We explain before we touch
Every visit starts sitting up, face to face. If we're going to do something, you hear what, why and how long first.
About the studio
Dr. Maya Tran opened On Point in 2016 after years of watching patients grip the armrests. So we changed the parts that make people nervous.

How it started
Dr. Tran spent eight years at a busy group practice in San Jose. The dentistry was fine. The experience wasn't. Patients got moved along like a conveyor belt. They heard what was wrong while lying flat with a mirror in their mouth, then got handed a printout with a total at the bottom.
A lot of them never came back, and pain wasn't the reason. It was how the visit felt.
So we built a small studio: two dentists, one patient at a time in each room. You sit up for the important conversations, see your own scan and get the price before anything starts.
How we work
Every visit starts sitting up, face to face. If we're going to do something, you hear what, why and how long first.
Treatment plans list each line with a price after your insurance. If a number changes, we tell you before the work, not after.
We split the plan into "should do soon" and "nice to have." Whitening and veneers never show up in the first column.
Raise a hand and we stop, without sighing or rushing you. Headphones, a blanket and a short break are always on offer.
The studio
Four treatment rooms, each with daylight. A lounge that looks more like a coffee shop than a waiting room.

We're on N Santa Cruz Ave, a two minute walk from the town lot on Elm St. Most patients come from Los Gatos, Monte Sereno, Saratoga and Campbell.
Open Saturdays, 8am to 2pm
Pick a time online in about a minute. Or call and a real person at the front desk picks up.
