A knocked-out tooth
Pick it up by the top, not the root. Rinse gently, keep it in milk or in your cheek, and call right away. The first hour matters most.
Emergency visits
We keep spots open every weekday and Saturday morning for pain, swelling and broken teeth. Calling is the fastest way in.
Call first
Tell the front desk what happened and when. We'll give you a time today, plus what to do until then.
Mon to Fri 7am to 6pm · Sat 8am to 2pm
After hours, the voicemail gives Dr. Park's on-call number for existing patients.
Then call us after. We'll handle the tooth once you're safe.
What counts
If it hurts enough that you're reading this page, it counts. These are the ones we see most.
Pick it up by the top, not the root. Rinse gently, keep it in milk or in your cheek, and call right away. The first hour matters most.
Throbbing pain, a bump on the gum or a swollen cheek usually means infection. Don't wait it out over the weekend.
Save any pieces. Rinse with warm water and press a cold pack to your cheek. Avoid chewing on that side.
Keep the crown. A little toothpaste or denture adhesive can hold it in place for a few hours. Don't use superglue.
After an extraction or an injury, bite on clean gauze for 20 minutes. If it's still going, call us.
Floss gently. Never use a pin or anything sharp. If it won't come out, we'll get it in five minutes.
Cost
The emergency exam and x-ray is $95 to $180 without insurance, and most PPO plans cover it. If we can fix the problem the same day, we will, and you'll see the price before we start.
No insurance? Members of our $29 a month plan get one emergency exam a year included.
Open Saturdays, 8am to 2pm
Pick a time online in about a minute. Or call and a real person at the front desk picks up.
